Starting at Love's Farm ...

As part of the WI Sports Week our Secretary, Jayne Evans, kindly organised a ramble starting at Love's Farm to Paxton Pits, round Paxton Pits and ending up at the Anchor pub!  Nine of our ladies started at Love's Farm, two more members and some of our family members then joined us at Paxton Pits.

Round Paxton Pits ... ending up at the Anchor Pub!

A well deserved drink after the 5 mile ramble (2 miles for those who just walked around Paxton Pits) on a particularly warm September day.  A couple of blisters and one sting but we all made it!

Thanks Jayne!

Well done everyone!

Afternoon Tea & Spring Fayre on 29th April from 2.30-5pm

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this event, and/or helped on the day.

And another big thank you if you came along to support us.

We had an amazing 15 raffle prizes, lots of bottles/jars and chocolate/sweets on the two tombolas, cakes galore, books/dvds, nearly new, crafts and gifts.  The fluffy dog was named "Boo" and there were 117 sweets in the jar! It was such a cold day but the teas/coffees (with a cake or two ...) went down a treat.  We sold around 80 cups!  The event went extremely well and was well supported.  Thank you also to the other WI Groups and Federation ladies who also came along to support us.

We hope you will join us for our Christmas Fayre on Sunday 9th December (details to follow).

For further details for the Christmas Fayre please email lovesfarmladieswi@gmail.com

Do contact us if you would like to hold a stall at our Christmas Fayre (for a donation to our nominated charity).
