7 of our ladies visited a group of elderly ladies at the Hillings Residential Home on Saturday 6th April.
We took an afternoon tea with us which all the ladies enjoyed after a bit of a chat and a TV theme songs quiz. The team named "The Goodies" won and everyone had a great time.

Thank you to Natalie for adding us to their social calendar and for her assistance on the day. You do an amazing job!

Well done ladies!
At our open meeting in September, Mark Egerton, the author of “The Haunted History of Huntingdonshire” came along to talk about his book and some local ghost stories.
We had a lovely evening with lots of visitors from other WI groups. The buffet afterwards was excellent too - thank you ladies!
As part of the WI Sports Week our Secretary, Jayne Evans, kindly organised a ramble starting at Love's Farm to Paxton Pits, round Paxton Pits and ending up at the Anchor pub! Nine of our ladies started at Love's Farm, two more members and some of our family members then joined us at Paxton Pits.
A well deserved drink after the 5 mile ramble (2 miles for those who just walked around Paxton Pits) on a particularly warm September day. A couple of blisters and one sting but we all made it!
Well done everyone!
One of our Love's Farm Ladies WI members had a baby boy on 6th July. Congratualtions to Emma and Kevin from all of the Love's Farm Ladies!

Nine of our local WI Groups are members of the St Neots & District Group of WI's. This year Love's Farm Ladies WI were asked to be hosts for the Group meeting. Our President, Nikki Jackson and our Secretary, Jayne Evans, co-hosted the event. The Peterborough Community Gospel Choir sang for us. We also won the competion with our inspirational women presentation (Frida Kahlo, Helen Keller and Malala Yousafzai) - Thanks to Jade Walch!
It was an amazing evening! Well done to all the WI groups who took part.
We had an amazing 15 raffle prizes, lots of bottles/jars and chocolate/sweets on the two tombolas, cakes galore, books/dvds, nearly new, crafts and gifts. The fluffy dog was named "Boo" and there were 117 sweets in the jar! It was such a cold day but the teas/coffees (with a cake or two ...) went down a treat. We sold around 80 cups! The event went extremely well and was well supported. Thank you also to the other WI Groups and Federation ladies who also came along to support us.
We hope you will join us for our Christmas Fayre on Sunday 9th December (details to follow).
