The WI came to Britain in 1915, it was founded as a democratic, educational and social organisation for women, to give them the opportunity to develop their own skills and talents.
Our aim at Love's Farm Ladies WI is to meet these foundations in which the WI was established on, as well as having fun along the journey of our new group.
We formed in January 2017 and have never looked back! Love's Farm Ladies WI presently have approximately 30 members with an age range between 24-75!
If you are looking to meet other locals; perhaps enjoy a demonstration or talks on new topics; would like to take part in raising funds for local charities or just enjoy getting together with a cuppa and some cake (well we are part of the WI!) with like minded ladies and hopefully have a bit of a laugh then come along and give us a try!
First meeting is free. If you come to a second meeting you will need to pay either the appropriate WI membership fee or pay £4 entry.
WI membership fee for a year (from January) is £42 (if you join between
1 April-30 June £31.50; 1 July-30 Sept £21.00; 1 Oct-31 Dec £10.50).
We have had a wide variety of talks/demonstrations and social events over the past year (see the other pages on this website for details) and have also raised money for a local charity. We've definitely had fun along the way and made new friends. You can come along and take part as much (or little) as you wish.
We have great plans for 2020 too so why not come and join us!
We meet every third Thursday of the month (apart from December) at 8pm at St Neots Football Club, Rowley Park, Kester Way, St Neots PE19 6SL.
