Although quieter than hoped a magnificent £637.20 was raided. This will be split between our 2 charities with cheques sent off to them shortly.
· Thought needs to be given to this years fund raising. Possibly an early summer event would be organised in place of the Christmas Fayre. Input and ideas are welcome. Please pass on thoughts to a committee member so it can be discussed at the next committee meeting.
· MAGPAS was chosen as our 2020 charity. Interest in this had been first voiced after their talk last year.
· St Neots Town Football Club has asked if we could support their Macmillan fundraising day, 15th Feb which finishes with a Motown Disco. · There is also a new cake rota for our meetings, so please can you fill in slots.
· Planning is still under way for this year’s social events. We hope to get these out to you with the minutes and will be found later on the website too.
Already discussed are another walk and Poppies tearoom.
Further suggestions included ten pin bowling and a fish & chip supper at the coach house.
Phyllis suggested that we could look into a visit Nelson Lodge, instead of The Hillings for this years residential home support
· There had been a lack of interest in starting our own Book Club, however for those still interested there is one at Loves Farm House this Friday at 7.45 when they will be discussing The Tattooist of Auschwitz.
